Prints

Giclée prints, produced by Sterling Editions, are available or may be ordered for most of Jean's paintings, including those marked SOLD. The paintings are reproduced on a smooth canvas that allows for maximum detail and color saturation and needs no glass to protect it. (Learn about the Giclée printing process).

Reproductions are generally the same size as the original painting. For some of the larger paintings, reduced sizes may be ordered.

Prices are based primarily on the size of the reproduction-plus-border. A border of 1.5 inches on each side allows the canvas to be stapled to the sides of a stretching frame. A border of 2 inches extending from each side of the image allows the print to be "gallery wrapped" -- the canvas will be wrapped around the stretching frame and attached to the back rather than the sides of the frame. In this case the extended sides may be a solid color or the sides may constitute an extension of the pattern and color of the image. A gallery wrapped print may be hung without an external picture frame. Prices range- roughly - from $120 to $300. Orders for prints not in stock require a 50% deposit.
